Saturday, August 30, 2008 Living, Breathing, Being.

An aching burn,
A pulling force,
Undeniable attraction,
Self-destruction.
Aching heart,
Anguished cries,
Pulsing veins,
Sign of life.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 Olympics

At eight,
on eighth of Eight,
Many stayed awake,
To witness the commencement of the Games,
And the lighting of the Olympic flame.

Stunned and awed we were,
As we watched from our own home,
Envious and jealous we were,
Hearing the cheers of those in the dome.

China shone that night,
With the colours, the sounds, the lights,
Beijing hosted the Games,
For the year 2008.

The athletes all prepped and ready,
Prepared for the Olympic Games,
Mind set on winning the medals,
everyone would know their names.

We were all prepared to support,
Our beloved country in action,
Our Malaysian spirit was strong,
The gold medals were our attraction.

Each day we faithfully watch,
As our country fought and fought,
Pride overfilling our hearts,
As we monitored the score charts.

Which led me to where I am,
In my seat in front of the TV,
My mind nowhere else,
But of the Games in front of me.

Monday, August 4, 2008 Never Part

He blew her a kiss,
She slapped his face,
He winked at her,
She walked away.

He sighed,
She groaned,
He laughed,
She smiled.

A love hate of their kind,
A mismatch of their hearts,
A trick of the mind;
For never will they part.
